“Donna’s work is beautiful and disturbing. Like open-heart surgery it goes straight to the pulse of life which we all share. A transformative experience!”
– Roxanne Lanier, Ph.D.
(Therapist, author)

What Is Sacred About Nature?
November 15 - 18, 2004

This retreat is being offered by Donna at the Murie Wilderness Center in the Grand Teton National Park. Participants will come away with a better understanding of the worldview of Primal Peoples who, no matter where they live, experience the world as pulsing with The Holy.

This is a retreat for people who are eager to experience: Nature as sacred and full of wisdom, Nature as the model for living in harmony with the All, Nature as the model of how humankind can live simply, yet ecstatically!

The curriculum is a primer for those who want to begin such a way of life, and a boost for those who are already on the path and want to accelerate.

There will be rituals and storytelling – out in Nature as well as indoors around the fire.

The Murie Center

Dedicated to Inspiring
Mindful Action
on Behalf of Wild Nature

A rustic homestead located in
Grand Teton National Park
Moose, Wyoming 83012
(near Jackson and its airport)

The Murie Center is located at the foot of the spectacular snow-covered Grand Teton peaks. The air is so clear one can see countless stars at night. The snow on the ground reveals the tracks of wildlife that pass through – maybe even outside your heated cabin (moose, elk, coyotes, bears…).

We will take full advantage of the natural setting, gathering out-of-doors at times, but also meeting in the lodge in front of blazing logs, and enjoying food prepared in their modern professional kitchen.
